The fuel-efficient Chevrolet Aveo receives powertrain revisions for 2010 that enhance its already great fuel
economy. Automatic-equipped Aveo models are rated at 25 city/34 city, while transmission gearing changes to the
manual-transmission models enable improved highway fuel economy.
The Aveo lineup also includes a contemporary looking sedan and the Aveo5, a sporty five-door hatchback. All
models benefit in 2010 from a slight increase in horsepower; and a new exterior color is available, while
features such as OnStar, XM Satellite Radio, the GM Oil Life Monitoring system and standard 15-inch wheels
return.
- Horsepower increases to 108 (80.5 kW)
- New exterior color: Wintergreen Metallic
- Rear spoiler now standard on Aveo5 2LT
- Lower numeric fourth and fifth gear ratios on the five-speed manual transmission increase fuel economy by
reducing engine rpm at higher speeds
