The 2005 Silverado 1500 Regular Cab is available in six models: Work Truck,
Base and LS trims in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Three engine choices are
offered depending on trim and drive configuration, ranging from a 4.3L 195-hp V-6
up to a 295-hp V-8. Two transmission options are available, a five-speed manual
and a four-speed automatic. Safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc
brakes, driver and passenger airbags, and daytime running lights. Several options
are available, including the Z71 Off-Road Suspension Package, six-way power seats,
traction control, aluminum wheels, and an AM/FM stereo with a cassette and CD
player. Also, available Ride-Control suspension options provide manually
selectable settings for optimal ride quality.

Truck, Base, LS, and LT trims in both 2WD or 4WD configurations and the SS in AWD.

features on the LT seats. Optional features include a locking rear differential, a
heavy-duty auxiliary battery, Trailering Special Equipment, and camper wiring
provisions.
